Hatch Sealing Tape-Dry Cargo, UK

According to rules and regulations, metal hatch covers on cargo vessels are expected to be weather-tight without the aid of further appliances. In practice however, hatch joints can allow water to seep into the cargo causing unnecessary expense. As a safeguard and as an exercise in good housekeeping many owners around the world carry some form of hatch sealing tape on their ships for use in such emergencies.

DRY - CARGO hatch sealing tape is manufactured especially for metal hatch covers and consists of a bitumen compound coated onto polythene film and interleaved with release paper.

DRY - CARGO tape is supplied in 20 meter rolls available in 75mm, 100mm and 150mm widths ex stock.
